This 31 foot Wadecraft has the sporty V8 MerCruiser. The hull mould was borrowed from the Wadecraft designs of that era, constructed by an ambitious Scott Fury. Mechanically, the V8 Mercruiser 6.2L MAG Stroker MPI performs incredibly well. The engine is only 5 years old and the longblock was replaced in 2018, she has only 100 hours on the clock and was serviced in November 2021.The fuel tank was recently pressure tested in 2018 and new fuel lines were fitted at the same time. Holding 220L of fuel and 100L of fresh water, "Aussie" has a roomie head with shower allowing for (engine heated) showers. The galley includes a 2 burner gas stove and ample space for meal prep. The electronics on Aussie are simple but effective utilising a Garmin Striker sounder and Navman Tracker 5500 plotter. The deep Vee hull of the Fury 31 slices through any slop or oncoming swell and when it's flat or through the river Aussie will get up to 35 knots with ease.
