Seller's Description
The Ocean Master "Ocean Blaster 52" is an amalgam of all the best features and traits a capable expedition boat requires to do its job effectively. Start with a Gavin Mair designed hull with long keel, add twin Cummins 6CTA turbo diesels for reliability and efficiency, throw in accommodation for 8, a large aft galley, two helm stations and a huge back deck and you have the winning formula. Cape Voltaire spent her early days as a fishing charter vessel off Lancelin, where she proved herself as a true allweather performer. As you can see by the display pictures and drone footage, she cuts through the slop and gets on with the task at hand without upsetting the guests on board. The vessel is now privately owned and based in Port Geographe. Step aboard and you instantly notice the massive cockpit equivalent in size to that of a cray boat. Most of your time will be spent entertaining around the island bench top and enjoying your freshly caught crays or dhuies over a few crisp Coronas. The island bench houses a fridge, freezer and ice maker. Moving forwards to the saloon you have an aft positioned galley with plenty of space for meal prep. The dinette seats 6 and will be useful on the colder nights. There is heaps of natural light in the saloon provided by tall windows around the wheelhouse. The helm position has great vision in all directions and does not take up a great deal of space. Down in the accommodation there is a forward V berth with 4 singles and two identical double berths either side of the passageway. Up in the large flybridge, there is seating for all passengers and an electric davit to launch the ship's tender (a third aft facing helm station has been decommissioned). Twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3L turbo diesels give the Ocean Blaster a cruising speed of 17 knots at great economy. Two Onan gensets ensure you are able to run all systems without rationing. This vessel will be the ideal expedition cruiser for an adventurous family or boaties with a commercial background. If you want glitz, go buy a Riviera. This is a true "go anywhere" boat that will be up to the task of Abrolhos trips, Kimberley cruises or simple weekend getaways at Rottnest. Charter operators may be interested in returning her to survey to add a very desirable vessel to their fleet.
