Cruz Control was originally commissioned by an Australian owner who personally oversaw her construction and selected the best of the best in options and features. She competed and won her division in the 2000 Sydney to Hobart paying homage to the designs roots which are deeply embedded in the Trans Pac yacht race - of which two SC52's are already registered for the 2015 event. She was passed on to equally attentive owners in 2012 who have significantly added to the yachts sail wardrobe and continue to maintain the yacht to the highest standards.
