Seller's Description
40 Classic Timber Army Work Boat WW2Heres an opportunity to own a piece of Australian Maritime War history. Belfast was built in 1939 for the Australian army and saw service patrolling in the North of Australia and New Guinea. Built by J Butterill and Fraser in Melbourne she is one of the rare few of these vessels that has survived. She has recently undergone some restoration but still shows evidence of bullet grazes on her decks. This is a very solid classic boat and would be a great buy for a classic timber boat enthusiast or equally make a great live aboard crusier. Super Charged Detroit 2 stroke Diesel engine. Kubota 22 hp 5Kva genset Davits Fridge & Freezer 1000 Litres Fuel & Water Electronics Auto Pilot Solar Panels & Lots of batteries Classic BoatEngineDetroit 2-stroke super chargedGensetKubota 22hp, 5 KvaFuelCapacity1000LWaterCapacity1000LWeight17000 kgShowerYesToiletYes plus Holding TankAccomodationCABINS: Forward double / Twin in saloon
TOTAL BERTHS: 4
SALOON: Aft lounge area
SHOWER: YesGalleyLAYOUT: Starborad
STORAGE: Plenty
STOVE TYPE: 2 burner gas
MICROWAVE: YesRefrigerationFRIDGE: Yes
FREEZER: YesGroundTackleANCHOR WINCH: Yes
REMOTE: Yes
ANCHOR: Yes
CHAIN: YesSafetyGearBILGE PUMPS: 5 - 6
LIFERAFT: Yes - not for survey
LIFEJACKETS: Yes
FIRE PROTECTION: Extinguisher
SPOTLIGHT: YesElectricsLIGHTING: 12v/24v/240v
SHORE POWER: Yes
INVERTER: Yes
BATTERIES: lots - 12v + 24v
SOLAR PANELS: Yes
ElectronicsGPS: Yes
PLOTTER: Yes
SOUNDER: Yes
AUTO PILOT: Yes
RADIOS: VHF + VHF
